Ryan’s Story
Ryan will never be seizure-free, but he does have his quality of life back thanks to Haleigh’s Hope.
Ryan has Dravet syndrome, a severe form of epilepsy. After seventeen years of searching, we still couldn’t find anything that would improve his seizure control. He could have over a hundred grand mal seizures a month, often with several episodes occuring in a single night. Thankfully, Haleigh’s Hope has brought his seizures down to about ten per month, a mere fraction of what he had been experiencing. Ryan will never be completely free of seizures, but his quality of life has been dramatically improved by Haleigh’s Hope.
