To Parents of Children with Cerebral Palsy
Do you have a child with cerebral palsy? Researchers at Stanford University have launched a study to evaluate the use of cannabidiol (CBD) in children with CP and are looking for survey participants to help understand this topic. Parents and children are welcome to participate, regardless of whether they have or have not used CBD. This work is being led by Dr. John Vorhies (https://profiles.stanford.
If you’re eligible and would like to participate, you will be asked to complete a one-time set of two questionnaires. The first questionnaire is aimed at acquiring basic demographic and clinical data as well as evaluating CBD use and opinions. Participants will have the option of specifying whether their child has used CBD or not. The second questionnaire asks questions related to your child’s health-related quality of life such as personal care, mobility, comfort, communication, and emotions.
To participate in this study, please click on the following link which will direct you to a consent form and the two surveys: https://redcap.stanford.edu/
Participation should take no more than a total of 15 minutes.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the research coordinator, Ryan Seltzer, at pedsorthoresearch@stanford.edu
Thank you again for your time and consideration. Our goal is to pursue excellence in both research and clinical medicine. Your participation will help us better understand and care for our exceptional cerebral palsy patients.
